The new Alfresco TrainingVC unzip functionality has been implemented. In summary, there are now two things that can happen:
- If a user uploads a zip file which is a SCORM package (either through Moodle or Alfresco native), the package will be added to the unzip queue, processed (including generation of index page and metadata unpack) and if uploaded via Moodle the link will point initially to a "processing SCORM" page and then be redirected to the package index page on completion. The user will also receive an email once their package has finished processing.
- If a user uploads a zip file which is not a SCORM package (either through Moodle or Alfresco native), the package will be added to the unzip queue, processed (unzipped into a sub-folder named after the zip file) and the user emailed on completion of that process. If the upload was via Moodle, the link will point to the uploaded zip file, and if the long-term intention was to link to a file or files within the zip file, then the user will be able to go to Moodle and create those links after they have received the email (and without logging into Alfresco natively any more).
You will also see that the "unzip" action in Alfresco share has now been hidden as a result of these changes, as it is now superfluous.
