eWorks will regularly update this ticket with any issues we have identified or have been reported by our clients in the recent Moodle 4.1 Sandbox release.

All issues listed below have been escalated to Open LMS for a fix and we will update this article once a fix has been deployed to all our sites.

When a specific user role is created with following attributes "can see course participants, grades and logs as well as show/hide activities and override grades." this is not allowing a user to show/hide activities as it were in 3.11	Medium	22.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 29.6 Open LMS have identified this as a Core Moodle issue in Moodle 4.0 onwards. Group overrides showing duplicate entries in Calendar view 1. Original due date (Incorrect) 2. New override date (Correc)	High	7.7 This initial issue was isolated to one client but on further testing this has been verified as a core Moodle issue. This has been escalated to Moodle HQ for a fix/confirmation: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-78664
Attempting to duplicate a Turnitin activity causes issues with the Deadline block not showing the correct assignment due (Previous version are shown alongside current)	Medium	23.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 7.7 Open LMS advised this is an issue relating to the Turnitin plugin. Will be escalating to the Turnitin plugin developers for a fix. 23.7 Issue has been escalated to Turnitin and awaiting a resolution from them.
When a group override is used and no specific due date is set, teachers are unable to grant extensions to student	Medium-High	31.7 Open LMS have identified this to be a core Moodle bug: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-78841

ITEMS FIXED:

Coding errors shown when attempting to load a course:	High	16.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 17.6 Open LMS fixed this.
Following plugins showing error "Missing from disk!" from Plugin overview page External tool / LTI sources Question import/export formats Admin tools Reports customquiz / customquizaccess customquiz / customquizaccess	Medium	16.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 17.6 Open LMS updated that these are General warnings and are mostly harmless
Intellicart plugin is not updated	High	16.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 17.6 Open LMS have updated the plugin.
OU Blog Not Displaying Properly in Gradebook Setup	Medium	16.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 20.6 This issue was found to be related to the removal of OU Wiki's not OU Blog.
Programs new feature	Low	19.6 A few clients have expressed that they would like this to be disabled on their site. Open LMS have advised this is possible but it will not remove the menu items on the LMS. This can be removed via Custom CSS though, please lodge a ticket with eWorks if you would like this done.
Book activity no longer displays "Exit" Button	Medium	From online reports this was removed from Moodle in version 4.0 onwards. 16.6 Awaiting confirmation from Open LMS. 21.6 Open LMS believe this may be an unintended consequence on a Moodle 4.1 update from Moodle HQ. This has been escalated to Moodle HQ for a fix/confirmation: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-78535 22.6 Confirmed as a Moodle intended change. Error message randomly showing when attempting to hide sections or activities	Medium-High	13.7 Escalated to Open LMS 20.7 A potential fix has been implemented and we do not see this behaviour on the courses.
Activities and Resources Icons are not visible in the snap theme.	Normal	19.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 26.6 Fix provided to Sandbox sites. Verified and resolved.
Extra new menu item shown in dashboard:	Low	16.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 21.6 Advised by Open LMS this is a theming issue and currently working on resolving this. 29.6 Now resolved by Open LMS.
Pop - up continues to flicker when you try to add questions to the quiz activity	Medium	16.6 Escalated to Open LMS to investigate 26.6 Identified as being caused by Custom CSS on client site
Coding error pop up seems to random show to users	High	13.7 Escalated to Open LMS for a fix. 20.7 Open LMS has applied a potential fix for this problem. If courses still have this issue, Open LMS will apply a workaround once reported to them. 21.7 Fix has been deployed to all sites.
In Gradebook, single view report it is not possible to edit the feedback, overrides or exclusions in Snap.	High	13.7 Escalated to Open LMS 18.7 Workaround provided: While on the single view of the gradebook, add the following to the end of the URL and refresh the page: &edit=1 2.8 Resolved via hotfix.
Activity Icons not showing on "Home - Timeline" in SNAP	Medium	7.7 Escalated to Open LMS 26.7 Resolved via Open LMS Hotfix.
TinyMCE editor doesn't show the dropdown options if there is no room at the bottom of the page	Medium	13.7 Escalated to Open LMS 15.7 Open LMS Dev team is looking into it. 24.7 TinyMCE is not yet compatible with Snap Theme. This is aimed to be resolved in Moodle 4.2
Joomdle SSO not working	High	13.7 Identified as the plugin no longer works in Moodle 4.1 and requires an update. Awaiting Open LMS to deploy. 19.7 Open LMS is working on a fix without interfering with the Database prior to MP1. 21.7 Issue is relating to an out of date plugin. Plugin to be updated in MP1 27.7 Resolved in MP1
GIF images are showing a "play" and "pause" button Confirming if this is an intended change or not	Medium	7.7 Escalated to Open LMS for clarification 12.07 This has been identified as a intended change but the formatting is not correct so this is currently being investigated further by Open LMS. 3.08 Resolved by Open LMS
On Snap Theme, Lightbox gallery, checklist and choice editing options are not available	Medium	03.07 Open LMS advised a fix is scheduled for Moodle 4.1 MP1. Workaround available: Turn the editing mode on in a second tab and then refresh the page with a lightbox gallery. 16.8 Resolved via hotfix
Atto editor display issues when going full screen	Medium	13.7 Escalated to Open LMS 19.7 Open LMS Dev team is looking into it. 24.7 Confirmed as a bug and waiting a resolution. 21.08 Resolved via hotfix
